Silent for Once

They will be there
in the judgment rooms.
To me it seems
the days of this one
were justified, with
gifts remembered
passed to others,
certainly from time
to time poems
came into being.
Others say
bad things,
your servant
corrected, put
in his place.

I’m biased
in his favour
now, yet
the hour
my death
comes for me:
no two
realities,
just one.
They will
make the case
against and I
will be silent
before the angels
for once.
